Tynemouth legend knows of a group of cold-water swimmers who brave the icy waters of the North Sea, all year round… It’s time to meet the Tynemouth Outdoor Swimmers (or TOSers as they’re fondly known as…).
Our work was recognised with its first International Film award in December 2021, when our ‘Tynemouth Outdoor Swimmers’ film, won the best short documentary category, against competition from around the globe at the inaugural Northeast International Film Festival.
