Planning Your Professional Video With Honeypot Creative

Well, fundamentally it’s the combination of our ability to listen and understand what is needed from the experts inside those we work with, added to our experience in recommending and then creating exactly the right professional content.  

With the Honeypot’s approach, one plus one really does add up to three, so it’s maybe no coincidence that there are three factors to consider at the planning stage. They are:

  1. What is the story? – What messages need to be delivered, and to which audience (or audiences, as you may need different cuts for say an internal and external audience for the same project).

  2. What is the budget? – The same messages in content can be delivered in many ways, so this may drive for example the number of edits, the location of shoots, who presents and how and for Animation, both its type and its complexity. A big budget won’t make a professional video better, but too small a budget and it’s unlikely that you will be able to deliver what you hoped for.

  3. What will it look like? – Sometimes there is a very clear reason why a project needs to be created with a specific technique. Good examples would be Event Video, where we need to be there to shoot or Drone Video or Timelapse Video, where particular angles or longer time periods can only be captured with specialist technology.
